About me:

Namaste! I’m Carina, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. I blend my interests in human behaviour, spirituality, and holistic therapies to offer a unique yoga experience. 

My journey blends a lifelong love of movement with a deep passion for supporting mental well-being. I’m a former rhythmic gymnast with the Portuguese National Team, where I developed strength, flexibility, and a dedication to movement that continues to inspire me today. In addition to this, I spent over a decade working in social care and mental health settings, gaining valuable insights into how stress, anxiety, and burnout can affect both the body and mind.

I started practicing yoga in 2012 and was immediately captivated by how it improved my physical health and flexibility and brought me a sense of inner peace and restored balance. 

After completing 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in Nepal, I now teach Hatha and Somatic yoga.

This Gentle Flow Somatic Inspired Yoga class is suitable for all levels, where participants are invited to tune into their bodies and release tension through slow, mindful movement, deep breathing, and mindfulness techniques, helping to relieve tension, improve focus, and promote relaxation. 

This style of yoga supports nervous system regulation and helps participants reconnect with their internal sensations, fostering a sense of balance and inner calm.
